양운철 작가의 작품들은 그의 오랜 생각과 깊은 탐색 과정에서 나온 결과물이다. 그는 '누구인가', '무엇인가', '어떻게 이러한 모습으로 존재하게 되었는가' 질문을 던지고, 알고 싶어하며 다양한 관점에서 생각하고 작품으로 표현하고 있다.

 그는 있는 건, 서로 마주할 수 있어 상대적이고, 닮고도 달라 유비적이라 생각한다. 그리고 존재하는 것과 사라지는 것 사이 지속적인 변화에 주목한다. 이런 변화과정을 살펴보며, 세계와 삶의 다양한 면면을 작품에 담아내고 있다.

 양운철 작가는 둘 이상 보이는 색을 중요한 표현 수단으로 사용한다. 그는 빛의 일부인 색을 통해 우리가 자기 자신과 세계를 어떻게 인식하는지에 대해 탐구한다. 색으로 우리 존재와 인간관계를 더 깊게 이해하려고 한다.

 또한 우리를 몸이자 세계로 보면서 서로 간 상호작용하는 관점을 철학적으로 다룬다. 몸이 바로 우리 자신이자 세계이고, 서로 이어져 있다고 보며, 이를 통해 내면의 자신과 외부 세계 사이 다양한 관계를 색의 몸으로 표현한다. 그는 작업과정을 통해 우리 자신, 깊이 있을 자아를 발견하는 여정을 함께 걷고자 노력하고 있다.

YANG Woon Chul's works are the result of his long contemplation and deep exploration. He poses questions such as "Who am I?", "What am I?", and "How did I come to exist in this form?" and seeks to understand these through various perspectives, expressing them in his art.

 He perceives existence as relative, where what is present can face each other, and similarities and differences are seen as interconnected. Yang focuses on the ongoing transformation between existence and disappearance, capturing various facets of the world and life in his work.

 Yang uses multiple visible colors as a crucial expressive tool. Through the colors, which are part of light, he explores how we perceive ourselves and the world. He aims to deepen our understanding of our existence and human relationships through color. 

 Moreover, he philosophically addresses the perspective of seeing ourselves as both body and world, interacting with each other. Yang views the body as both ourselves and the world, interconnected, and he uses this concept to express various relationships between the inner self and the external world through the medium of color. He strives to embark on a journey with viewers to discover the deeper self through his creative process.
