박연경 작가의 작업들은 무의식 기록물(Unconscious painting archives)이다. 그동안의 경험과 마주한 것들, 그리고 의식하지 못한 감정과 기억을 작품에 담아낸다. 때로는 추상적으로 표현되지만, 그 안에는 작가만의 내면이 담겨 있으며, 경험이 자리하고 있다. 이러한 무의식 기록물들은 작가에게 큰 영감을 주며, 자신의 삶과 예술적 표현 사이의 연결을 탐구하는 중요한 매개체가 된다. 

무의식은 작가가 의식하지 못하는 내면의 영역이며, 작가는 이러한 흔적들을 섬세하게 찾아내어 작품으로 표현하는 과정을 통해 새로운 경험을 얻는다. 이로 인해 작가는 모든 것이 연결되어 있다고 믿는다. 작업을 통해 무의식의 해방을 경험하며, 작가 안에 있는 것들을 발견하고, '그린다'라는 행위를 통해 무의식의 힘을 인정하고 창조적으로 활용하고자 한다. 

그래서 작가의 작품은 다양한 형태로 나타나며, 무의식과 행위, 그리고 대상과의 관계에 대해 생각할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다. 작품들은 새로운 시각과 경험을 제공하고, 서로의 경험을 나눌 수 있는 무의식 해방의 재료가 되기를 바란다.

PARK Yeon Kyung's works are "Unconscious Painting Archives." They encapsulate her experiences, encounters, and unacknowledged emotions and memories. Although sometimes abstract, these pieces reflect the artist’s inner world and experiences. These unconscious archives provide significant inspiration for Park, serving as a crucial medium for exploring the connection between her life and artistic expression. The unconscious represents a realm the artist is not fully aware of, and through the delicate process of uncovering these traces and translating them into her art, she gains new experiences. This leads Park to believe in the interconnectedness of all things. By experiencing the liberation of the unconscious through her work, she discovers what lies within and seeks to acknowledge and creatively harness the power of the unconscious through the act of painting. As a result, her artwork manifests in various forms, offering opportunities to reflect on the relationships between the unconscious, actions, and subjects. Her works aim to provide new perspectives and experiences and to serve as a medium for the liberation of the unconscious, fostering the sharing of experiences.
